Instructions:

  1. Combine the Sauce Ingredients:
  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, chicken broth, rice wine, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper. Mix well.
  1. Prepare the Cornstarch Solution:
  • Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/4 cup water and set aside. This will be used to thicken the sauce.
  1. Heat the Pan:
  • Heat a pan over high heat and add the cooking oil, swirling to coat the surface evenly.
  1. Cook the Aromatics:
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, cooking and stirring until fragrant, about 15 seconds.
  1. Add the Sauce Mixture:
  • Pour in the soy sauce mixture and bring it to a boil.
  1. Cook the Sauce:
  • Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 1 minute to allow the flavors to meld.
  1. Thicken the Sauce:
  • Add the cornstarch solution to the pan, cooking and stirring until the sauce boils and thickens to your desired consistency.
